The Ultimate Travel Adventure!

This is a guided adventure.  A week long itinerary has been designed with destinations in Europe.  We are offering two adventures for 2012, with starting points in Italy and Spain.

The Italy adventure may include destinations in Swittzerland, Austria, and Slovenia.  The Spain adventure may include destinations in Portugal and France.

Each team of two follow an itinerary that will be previously unknown and unfold from day to day.  We will all depart at the same time and from the same place each morning and all arrive at the same destination each evening.  Teams may take different routes.  We may all meet at various venues.  A non travel day will be scheduled at mid week.  All groups will be together for breakfast and dinner where we can celebrate with each other and share the experience.

Instructions will be delivered electronically to your iPad as well as provided by merchants, shopkeepers, bystanders, etc. along the way.  The week long program is designed to be low stress and high adventure with predetermined activities highlighting the culture and sights of a particular location.  You will be using public transportation.  The endpoint of the adventure will be the same as the starting point. 

Each team of two will be provided an iPad2 and/or an Iphone 4GS.  An introduction to the iPad and the phone will be given on the first day.  Each iPad will have location services (GPS), Interactive maps,  Internet, Mail service, and language translation service.  You will always be connected to your guides to ensure that you do not get hopelessly lost.

All hotel reservations will be prearranged and luggage will be transported to each new location.  Each team will be provided with an allotment of money to be used for transportation, etc each day.

This is not a competition and the program will provide a number of cultural activities (either as a group or team).  We will ensure your success and arrival at your destination each day.  But the things that you find along the way will have you talking to friends and family for years.

Sample Snapshot of Instructions .......

- Go to Bar Felipe on Calle Valencia 27.  Ask for Alfonso and order a coffee.  When you have paid for the coffee and finished it, Alfonso will give you your next instruction.

- Using the instruction from Alfonso, take a Taxi to the train station.  Go to the counter and buy a train ticket to Evora.  The train ride will take about 45 minutes.  While you are on the train, you will receive an Email with your next instruction.

- Your Email tells you to locate the Chapel of the Bones.  Translate this into Portuguese and locate it on a map.  Go by foot to the Chapel.  After you have visited the chapel, tell the attendant at the reception "It is a beautiful church" in Portuguese and you will receive your next instruction.
