This fabulous adventure will be offered in Sardinia on the northern coast nerar the Maddelena Archipelago.  Annie Olson will guide watercolor enthusiasts through a course of seascape painting.  These workshops are for all levels of painting experience, from beginners to those looking for inspiration and improvement in painting techniques.  However, the week is not just about painting.  It's also an opportunity to see the sights, experience the culture, and enjoy the food and drink of the area.

Day 1

Arrive in Olbia, Sardinia.  Transportation to Palau and check into hotel.  Welcome Dinner!

Day 2

Overview of the area and activities for the week.  Preparation of painting materials and first lesson on mixing paints and preparing a sketch.  Afternoon trip to seaside location and introduction to watercolor painting.

Day 3

Lesson 2 at seaside location.  Lunch at the beach and visit to seaside villages of the northern coastal area and the La Maddelena Archipelago.  Continuation of painting.

Day 4

Day trip to Corsica.  Visit this French island and view the historic sites and natural beauty of the southern part of the island.  Feast on traditional cuisine and wines for lunch.

Day 5

Lesson 3 at a seaside location near Alghero.  Create your own sketch while incorporating depth with both perspective and color.  Lunch in Alghero with free time in the afternoon.

Day 6

Lesson 4 at a seaside location.  Continue painting while incorporating additional techniques and colors to create contrast and emotion.  Exhibition and final presentation.  Grand Finale Dinner!

Day 7

Departure and transportation to Olbia.

This is a week filled with fun, adventure, great food and a view of the world that can only be seen through the eyes of an artist.  The memories that you capture will last a lifetime.
